Three generations of lovely laides

Sunday afternoon was a cold one, but that didn't stop us from making the most of the dry weather!  I met up with cutie pie "A", her mom "C", her grandma, and their little dog Sophie too! There are certain spots in Greater Victoria which are simply gorgeous in the Autumn, and Royal Roads is sure one of them!  We got some fun shots with the big trees and the castle before heading down a nearby trail, and "fishing" in the streams.  It was lovely to meet this family and to find some new fun spots to re-visit another day! Thanks for meeting up with me C, it was wonderful to meet you all!

And baby makes three!

This weekend I had the pleasure this of meeting 6 week old Mr. "C" and his lovely parents. I can't say enough about how much fun babies are to photograph.  The whole world is so new to them, and I love watching them as they watch the world around them.  Mr. C was no exception! He had the most gorgeous big brown eyes that seemed to be taking in as much as possible.  I was also delighted to catch some shots of Mr. C showing off his head holding skills, he's such a strong little guy!  I really enjoyed getting to know Mr. C and his parents in the short while that I met with them. Welcome to the wonderful world of children J & C, it's a fabulous journey, and you're off to a beautiful start!

 And Merry Christmas!

Here a duck, there a duck, everywhere a duck!

I had the pleasure of photographing the "G" family this last week on a glorious, sunny afternoon.  "C" and "R" were both absolutely lovely, and their children "K" and "E" were fabulous.  "K" was as sweet as can be, and such a great big sister. "E" wasn't too sure about the camera, but he sure did like all of the ducks at the park!  One of the many charms of Beacon Hill Park are the multitudes of ducks that live there, but they sure are distracting when it's time for a photo session. It took a bit of crawling around in the leaves with him, but I did eventually get him to glance my way for a solo portrait!  The whole family was great; I really enjoyed our session!
